Labour came door knocking and were upset when we said we'd absolutely not be voting for them (despite being in a tight marginal) thanks to their stance on Palestine, trans rights and migration: "Well, if the Tories win by two votes…" YES. That's the point. You've lost our vote.

"In his Oscar acceptance speech, Jonathan Glazer issued a universal moral warning against dehumanization. His aim was not to descend to the level of political discourse. Critics who expected a clear political stance or a film solely about genocide did not grasp the depth of his message. 'The Zone of Interest”' is not a film about the Shoah. It is primarily a profound warning about humanity and its nature." Dr. Piotr M. A. Cywiński Auschwitz Memorial Director

A Google Cloud engineer just interrupted Google Israel managing director Barak Regev at Israeli tech industry conference MindTheTech this morning in NY. “I refuse to build technology that powers genocide!” he yelled, referring to Google’s Project Nimbus contract

Why are some governments trying to ban this Palestinian chant? And what does “From the river to the sea, Palestine will be free” actually mean?

Last year, I returned to Gaza to visit my family after 16 years in exile. During my stay, I captured numerous photos. I aim to share them here in a thread to demonstrate that Gazans embrace life with passion and resilience. They have their own cuisine and cherish their moments of joy. It's not just about conflict and loss. We yearn for the return of our normal lives, our freedom, our land, and equality.

This is absolutely insane. These people have no compassion, no understanding whatsoever of human suffering. On even the most basic level. We’re talking about a ceasefire. A fucking ceasefire!

In case it isn't clear: targeting Jews is wrong, always. Right now, it seems to be "excused" by the action of a government, hence the post. Blaming Jews for the actions of any government, whether Israel or others ("Jews control the government [sic]"), is malicious antisemitism.
Whether in Makhachkala, Russia, on Cornell University's student boards, or on the streets of US cities: Antisemitism is unacceptable and unjustifiable. Targeting Jews for the actions of a government is dangerous and deadly hate, and can never be excused.

.@Stevesosebee puts the number of Palestinian children killed by the Israeli bombardment into context: “If the United States had suffered the same amount of casualties of children killed… that would equate to 216,000 American children being killed in a three week period.”

I’m blessed to only encounter threatening bigots online, never in person as are many of you but many aren’t as lucky. Small or elderly Asian men/women who wear hijab and beard or more vulnerable Orthodox Jews don’t have that luxury. So please if you see something be a “good guy”
