Big news: Fortnite is coming back to the App Store in Australia tomorrow! Today the Australia Federal Court told Apple to open up iOS after finding they violated competition law. Here’s what’s changing in Australia in March 2027: • iOS will be open to third party app stores • Australian users will be able to download apps directly from developers • Developers will be able to offer only alternative payment systems and Apple can’t require devs to offer Apple’s IAP, without charging junk fees • Apple cannot block developers from pointing users outside apps to make purchases • Apple is barred from charging junk fees on purchases made in third party app stores This is great news for developers worldwide and iOS users in Australia who will benefit from an open mobile app ecosystem.

I finally caught my first Shiny Pokémon… 1 in 8192 odds. After 63 hours riding a bike around in a fkn cave and 7,068 encounters, Shiny Onix popped up and my wife & I lost our minds I’m not going to say this was a childhood dream, because it wasn’t. I didn’t even become aware of Shiny Pokemon until my early 20s, and when I did, I was fascinated by them I liked the extreme rarity of these “alternate” colored Pokémon, and couldn’t believe some people had the patience to reset their game over and over and over until they found the “one” Last month I finally got the bug (and had the time) to cross “catch a Shiny Pokémon” off my bucket list. I chose one of the original games, Pokémon Gold, because I wanted to experience what it might’ve felt like to randomly find one as a kid. No hacks, no cheats… just time, effort, and a ton of Max Repels And wow, what a moment… After literally spending two and a half collective days of my life hunting, in one split second we had achieved what I thought might be impossible. Green. Shiny Onix. Sparkles and all… I legit couldn’t believe it My Gengar put him to sleep, then I caught him with an Ultra Ball on the fourth attempt. We nicknamed him Avery in honor of Avery the Poke Kid, rest in peace to the legend. All things considered, my hunt was actually “under odds,” and I’m considered lucky. I know of some hunts that have taken over 30,000 🤮 Massive shoutout to the greatest shiny hunter of them all, @SauceMcGavin, for guiding me through this I’m aware that this seems like the most repetitive, ridiculous thing in the world, but therein lies the magic… this is a special skill set that takes an absurd amount of patience, tenacity, and a borderline delusional positive attitude. I hope people have gained some respect for Shiny Hunting because I don’t think I’ll do this again lol PS the ultimate reason I did this was to get golden Shiny Steelix… I’m evolving my Shiny Onix live on my YouTube channel October 29, while breaking open two boxes of Legendary Collection, so definitely tune in
