Je crois que personne ne se rend très bien compte du monde qu’il y avait à Paris pour manifester aujourd’hui.
Je crois n’avoir jamais vu ça.

Hope you’re all as reassured as I am to have someone like Streeting there to make the big decisions and steady the helm?
“Be ready by having some everyday essentials… three litres of water per person per day, tinned goods... to last a few days”
Speaking to @vicderbyshire, Defence Secretary Wes Streeting details advice to households to be prepared for a “dangerous and turbulent world”.

So let met get that straight: paying a wealth tax is impossible (“billionaires have no liquidity”, “it would be taxing unrealized gains”, “their wealth is virtual”) but paying half a billion to influence elections is possible. Did I understand well?
Elon Musk has cemented his record as the largest individual political donor in modern American history.
Musk poured $446 million of his own money into this year’s midterm elections, mostly aimed at preserving the Republican Party’s control of Congress. wapo.st/4igb5Kq

Very happy to have this come out w/@illwilleditions during the present explosion of revolts. It explores how the order of capital and of the police now only produces a dying world, and posits the need to bring death upon this order that refuses to die.

It has been obvious precisely where all this was heading, for quite some time. This is from Predictive Capital, published in June 2025:
To create writing worth reading, visual art or film worth watching, or music worth listening to, requires an inner life. Without attention to one's subjective experience during the process of doing, there is nothing created that conveys anything; it is all syntax and no semantics
AI generated music is 1000x better than real music.
Today I canceled Spotify and SiriusXM because I finally tested Suno.
What sold me was the first prompt I gave it:
“My favorite artists are A Day to Remember, Bring Me The Horizon, Spiritbox, Bad Omens, and Sleep Token.
Analyze all their hits and generate a song I’m likely to love based on those artists.”
It one shots an absolute banger in 10 seconds.
I'll link the song in the next tweet for anyone curious.
Why would I ever go back to Spotify/SiriusXM when I can generate music perfectly tailored to my taste on command, for free?
Not affiliated with Suno in any way btw, it was just one of those moments where I was so impressed with AI’s capability I had to say something about it.
No satisfied with the flow of wealth towards hyper-concentrated Capital throughout decades of austerity, the ruling class are now looking to move to a war footing, just to squeeze the last bit of wealth and life from the precariat before we can be automated away entirely.

I repeat: Pro-extinctionism is ubiquitous in Silicon Valley, embraced and promoted by some of the most powerful people in the world--individuals who are actively determining our collective future. For tons of examples, see my article below:

The report explicitly acknowledges that hatred toward Jews is NOT on the rise, and that only anti-Israel sentiments are increasing. And yet they STILL published a review claiming “antisemitism” is a major problem in British schools, because "antisemitism" means "opposing Israel".

The BBC have been “very compliant to Israel, reporting their arguments even where it’s screamingly obvious, even to viewers, that what's happening in Gaza is an international scandal,” a BBC insider has said.
[...]
The anonymous BBC insider said there’s “still a tendency to refer back to the Hamas attack on the festival as if that was a balancing moment against what has come up subsequently.”
The source continued: “There's a tendency for the BBC to hide behind objectivity” instead of doing “the core journalism job of bringing truth to power”.
While BBC staff are afraid to speak out “because of the threat of job losses and restructuring. And that there’s a malaise within the organisation where people feel troubled by how things are progressing,” the source said.

Protests have spread to Turkey now too.
They are sick of Israel and refuse to serve in the Turkish army to fight to defend Saudi Arabia, Israel or the USA.
