This argument is clearly the talking point, but doesn’t make any sense. Ukraine has not been using Starlink any differently now than it was a week ago. Nor is it plausible that SpaceX has suddenly learnt of some new and illicit use case in that period
NATO Ambassador Matt Whitaker on Starlink: "They are a private company. Obviously they have terms of use that are applied to all of their customers, including the Ukrainians. I think it is more of a dispute along those lines than anybody in this administration trying to change how Starshield or Starlink is used."

Q: The president is coming back to Georgia on Saturday-- OSSOFF: Good. It will remind Georgians of the president's failure

Q: There was a report that FEMA is telling states to prepare to handle disasters on their own. Any reaction? OSSOFF: So the Trump administration is telling folks across the country to prepare to fend for themselves while taxpayer dollars are sent to back Don Jr and Eric's mining interest in Kazakhstan?

TRUMP: We gave nothing in exchange for Stephen. We never give anything in exchange for hostages. TRUMP LITERALLY MOMENTS LATER: If I implemented sanctions on Russia, Steven wouldn't be coming out right now.

Trump takes two questions and then abruptly wraps up the event, which was supposed to be about "cybercrime" but in reality was just an opportunity for Trump's cronies to publicly praise him and kiss his ass

literally moments after claiming he gave up nothing in exchange for a hostage who was being held by Putin, Trump admits that he didn't implement sanctions on Russia in order to get the hostage

Trump: "We have been pretty happy with Russia that they have not gotten involved in Iran ... Russia and China have not participated or, participated in a much smaller way than they could have." (Both Russia and China have actively helped Iran fight America.)

Q: Witkoff described President Putin as a humanitarian. Would you describe him in that same way? TRUMP: I guess you could say for the purpose of allowing a man who was thinking he was gonna be in prison for life out

it's honestly kind of amazing how Trump holds events like this one at the White House daily and almost every time nobody really knows what the point of them is. Why is this happening? Is there any purpose beyond the optics of looking busy?
Trump: "National cyber director Sean .... Camichuooooi -- where are you Sean? Where the hell -- I gotta get this name so perfect. Kearincross."

"It matters when Trump tears down the East Wing of the White House, or befouls the Lincoln Memorial Reflecting Pool, or shutters the Kennedy Center. And the litigation to stop him from destroying those civic institutions is a key front in the battle over the limits of executive power." publicnotice.co/p/trump-east…
