60 years ago today 144 people died in the Welsh village of Aberfan when a colliery spoil tip collapsed onto them. 109 of those were children attending the village school. A tragedy that broke hearts, which remain broken now. The strength and courage shown by that community is an example to us all.

Traffic lights in Manchester have been causing chaos for weeks. Engineers repaired them, replaced them, scratched their heads… and still they kept breaking! The culprits? SLUGS!
Apparently, they’ve been crawling inside the electrical boxes for a bit of warmth and short-circuiting the whole system.
Imagine spending thousands on traffic management, only to be defeated by a creature that takes three days to cross a pavement.
You really couldn’t make it up! 😂
