BE CAREFUL, FOLKS — on my way home from work I picked up a bag of fentanyl off the ground and there was a DOLLAR inside it. literally the DIRTIEST thing I can imagine. I’m absolutely DISGUSTED. stay safe out there!!!

Calling it a fentanyl “exposure” rather than ingestion or overdose makes it sound like the general public or first responders were also at some sort of heightened risk. Let me be clear — fentanyl poses ZERO risk to you unless you’re shooting, smoking, snorting or ingesting it.

Already hearing stories of NYPD plainclothes officers harassing ppl in Washington Heights (34th Precinct). Having to warn PWUDs about police hotspots out of fear of their safety sucks, shortly after the relief of “syringes are decriminalized you don’t have to be scared anymore”

a defendant was arrested this morning while in line for methadone treatment at Mass and Cass, which she did not receive. She was charged with possession and brought in on a previous warrant for "intent to commit a crime," a charge for which she has not yet had a court hearing.
