I built a web directory in 15 hours and with $210 using the @johnrush method, and within a week, I have 38 pages indexed on Google and some organic SEO views trickling in. #buildinpublic
Here’s how I did it: 🧵

Roughly 20 million hours a year.
About 12.7 million DS-11 applications (first-time and other in-person cases) occur annually. Official burden is 85 minutes just for the form plus travel and photo runs. Online eliminates appointments, lines, drugstore photos, printing, and middlemen—saving ~1.5 hours each on average.
That’s the equivalent of over 10,000 full-time workers’ annual hours freed up.
This is a great idea, and actually really useful. Just used it to learn about RealID (turns out my ga license is compliant). Now this is my entry point to any govt question.

And so it begins… the end of software is near.
Today, we're sharing new research on Solaris, our first Interface World Model.
Solaris is a new kind of operating system that generates interactive interfaces frame by frame, in real time, with no code. We find that Solaris outperforms frontier LLMs when generating new interfaces, across structural similarity and information retention. Read more and request early access at the link below.
DHH (@dhh) has done more for the community than building great software. He’s a voice of optimism and hope in a time when so many are fearful and apocalyptic.
His vision of the future is close to where I want to live. I hope more people consciously choose to be white-pilled.
Because like he said: if the apocalypse is coming, there’s nothing you can do about it. Better to be optimistic and try to build a beautiful future. There’s something you can do about that.
