Jack Antonoff tells Ed Sheeran to “stand the f*ck up” after Macklemore was fired from his tour for showing support to Palestine:
“it’s not in any way a strange, uncomfortable or controversial thing to say [Free Palestine], it’s a deeply human thing to say. If you think it is [controversial] you’re lost in some other sauce that is so crazy. They’re going to let some f*cking promoter tell me what I can say? Don’t book me. I’ll play for free outside. [Ed Sheeran] missed a massive, beautiful opportunity there: just cancel the whole fucking tour, then play for free outside each venue, raise a bunch of money, rather than let a fucking billionaire tell you what to do. The reason it’s not an anomaly or niche issue is because we all live in a world where billionaires are constantly telling us what to do. So stand the f*ck up.”

Can I be honest? This telephone busy part during ready steady go is just annoying because why are people screaming these lyrics instead of the ones from Harry’s song at a HARRY STYLES concert

- Because it was humiliating.
- You mean the way I treated ya?
- Yeah.
- Just the fact that I put up with it.

Harry‘s final speech of last night:
“New York, thank you so much! It’s uh, I had the great pleasure of playing in this room for the first time when I was 18 years old, and it’s been- this really means a lot to me. And I want to thank you all for your support over the years coming through New York. Thank you so much for the warm welcome back here.
I know that a lot of you here tonight aren’t from New York and you've travelled a long way to be here. It means the world to us. Thank you so much for allowing us to do these shows here, thank you for coming out to see us. Thank you.
You've been absolutely incredible tonight. From this side all the way around to this side, top to bottom, front to back. I've seen some old faces out there, I've seen some familiar faces as well. It means so much to us that you came back to see us again. Thank you for trusting me, thank you for trusting the music and being here with us tonight. I hope you had a good time. Thank you.
There’s a couple of people I’d like to say a quick thank you to, if that’s alright, then we’re gonna give you some more music, and then you’ll be free to go and do whatever you want. Them’s the breaks.
First of all, for the incredible Mr Jamie XX, who opened the show tonight, make some noise. For my wonderful, wonderful band who’s on this stage with me every night, make some noise.
And for the large group of people who are the first ones here, the last ones to leave, this show is impossible without them. You don't see them during the show. So please, for all the crew backstage, make some noise.
And finally, most importantly, to each and every single one of you in here. I thank you from the bottom of my heart. I don't know if you've been listening for one year, five years, ten years, sixteen years, whatever it is. You have changed my life over, and over, and over again.
We’ve had the most wonderful time here in New York. Thank you so, so much for all the support.
Now, since last time that we were here, last time we were on the road, we took a little bit of a break and, uh, a lot of life happened in that time. And it was a… a really important reminder for me of how wonderful, and difficult at times, and inspiring, and fragile our life is.
And since I've been back in these rooms with you and I've felt this incredible energy again, this incredible community that you've all built together over the years. I want to take a moment with you to just remind you that it is so much bigger than me, it's so much bigger than any music you like, or musician you follow. When you look around this room, I hope that you remember that when this song is over, when the show is over, when the tour is over, all of this remains. It is yours, it does not belong to me. It's been a privilege to be a part of it with you. Thank you so much!
I hope you have fun tonight, coming out, dancing with strangers, dancing with your friends, dancing with your colleagues, Miriam. *Turns to look at Miriam who he spoke to earlier in the show* You decide.
And uh, you know, putting your phone down for a night and going out dancing with strangers and sweating with them, and dancing with your friends and people that you love, it can change your life, it certainly changed mine. We hope you had a good time tonight. Thank you so much for being here with us.
Please get home safe and continue to look after each other. I see the way that you treat each other in these rooms, outside of these rooms, there are people here, outside of here, and on the other side of the world who deserve your love and respect, and deserve theirs. Thank you so much.
I love you all. I hope to see you again really soon. Please take care of yourselves. I love you, New York. Thank you. Good night. Thank you.”
