Has it really been 29 years ago when Natalie Imbruglia released “Torn.” Where did the time go? Always loved this song..

ABBA – The Winner Takes It All (1980) 💔🎶 Björn wrote the lyrics after their real-life separation. Agnetha had to sing every word. A timeless song filled with raw emotion. 🎤✨

“Shout” is from Tears for Fears’s 1985 album Songs from the Big Chair. Co-written by Roland Orzabal and Ian Stanley, the track became the band's biggest international hit, spending three weeks at #1 on the Billboard Hot 100 and topping the charts in Canada, Australia, Germany, and several other countries. Its powerful chorus and themes of emotional release and resistance to oppression made it one of the defining songs of the 80s.
The song's concept was directly inspired by Arthur Janov's Primal Therapy, which proposed that repressed childhood trauma could be released through primal screaming (the same theory that inspired the band's name). Initially considered too long and too dark by their record label to be released as a single, the band insisted on it, and an epic 8-minute 12-inch remix helped propel the song to worldwide success. Beyond its psychological themes, Roland Orzabal also described the lyrics as a broader protest against Cold War-era tensions, oppression, and authoritarianism.

Very little makeup, jeans, plain top, no autotune.......gorgeous woman with a haunting voice.

One of the top ten performances in history, and all she does is stand there and sing—no dancers, no nose rings, no wild gimmicks, no auto-tune.
I don’t think the crowd realizes how lucky they are to hear this live.

I agree with Chris Rock after the :15 mark.
Based on his own explanation, this isn't a 'White' problem.
This is societal problem or a Chris Rock problem but never a 'White' problem as explained. 👇
Chris Rock opens up about one of his CLOSEST FRIENDS spending 19 YEARS in prison for a crime he DIDN’T COMMIT, admitting he had the money to help him get a lawyer but chose NOT TO 😳
He says the case showed him how quickly Black men can be ACCUSED of anything and treated as GUILTY from the start.
“I had the means to help him and I didn’t. And I don’t know if we could have got him out or not, but still.”
