Rastafari Call is not a chant. It's a memory. Ancestors calling forward, telling us to remember who we were before the theft.
My father sang before me. Donovan Joseph. I grew up hearing conviction before I understood what it cost. Now I know.
Wayne Smith told me the riddim can be simple and the message still cut deep. Sleng Teng proved that to the whole world. I never forgot the lesson.
My cousin Dennis Brown left a blueprint. Sing the truth, sing it soft, but never sing it small. I carry that every time I step to a mic.
Self-rule is not a slogan for me. It's the whole business. Nobody hands you sovereignty. You take it, then you defend it every day.

Autarchii (@autarchii) and the Mining Gold Band brought the vibes to the Smile stage with their cover of Dennis Brown's 'Should I' for #BandWednesday.
Greatness and loyalty is all I have in my close circle; that I'm grateful for. What are you grateful for?

A very necessary reasoning to rid all the ignorance I've seen and heard recently.

For me the assignment is simple: Stay away from the hype, acquire as many assets as possible and never lose my roots. Red A Red forever!!!
