Black Ocean series, @authorjsmorin without a doubt.
Fun, pulpy, and chock full of loveable rogues who quickly became cherished friends. LBTQ+ friendly, and has somethin to say about faith too.
Got me through some hard weeks at my job, Morin and Naramore are blessings.

Fantasy - Runelords series by @davidfarland. Great concept and character development.
Sci-Fi - Black Ocean series by @authorjsmorin. Huge time investment with quirk, battles, physics and of course magic!

My favorite character was Roland Kane, a Matthew McConaughey-like weirdly charismatic reprobate.
