Disagree.
Autism and ADHD have significantly high false positive rates that get worse at the clinical level. A misdiagnosis that is not caught has a significant impact on self-concept and eventual agency.
There is significant symptom overlap with PTSD and other conditions. The PTSD overlap is critical.
Children are impressionable, especially under the influence of their parents, and their perceptions of themselves are largely informed by their parents.
Symptoms are often mischaracterized by parents well before any visit to a clinician.
If any mental health screening is done on children, it needs to be conducted via forensic interview rather than as a dedicated screening for specific conditions.
Points 2, 3, and 4 are critical because screenings could be used to misdiagnose potential PTSD and to hide or mischaracterize trauma/abuse which is far more prevalent than actual cases of ADHD.
Personal story: I grew up being characterized as scatterbrained by my parents, and I still struggle with short-term memory issues. This is an overlapping symptom of ADHD, but it is also a key characteristic of PTSD or cPTSD arising from early development.
It is more cruel to mischaracterize a trauma response as ADHD.

School refusal is usually anxiety & other emotions taking over. Calm mornings, predictable routines & trusted adults can help. My approach with families I’ve supported is about focusing on the individual in front of me, meeting them where they are at that moment in time
