Full quote from Texas A&M coach Mike Elko on why he stuck with Marcel Reed at QB and if he considered benching him for Brady Hart: "Yeah, absolutely. It was for sure a thought. Obviously, it couldn't continue to go that way. So we were ready to do that. And then Marcel obviously went back out and played probably his best football for the rest of the first half." On what gave him the confidence to stick with him following the second interception: "I still believe he's our best option, so that's kind of why we stayed with him."

KJ Edwards led Texas A&M in rushing with 8 carries for 43 yards. He had 3 carries in the final 3 quarters of the game. He was averaging 7.4 YPC in the 1st quarter and got 3 touches after that…
