When trouble came, Job chose to worship rather than turn away from God. Job 1:21 is a reminder that even in difficult seasons, remembering God’s blessings can help strengthen your faith in God.
When life feels heavy, pause and name the blessings God has already given you, then choose to praise Him again.

Have you ever noticed the thoughts that fill your mind when you first wake up? What if, instead of beginning your day with worries, you took a moment to remember that the God who created the heavens and the earth also cares for you? Each morning is an opportunity to rest in His lovingkindness and trust Him to guide your steps.
As you go about your day, take time to notice the reminders of His care in creation. When you pass a garden or walk beneath the trees, consider how the plants grow. They do not worry about where their next ray of sunshine or drop of rain will come from. Instead, they grow by receiving the light, air, and nourishment God provides. In much the same way, your spiritual growth does not come from anxious striving, but from continually receiving what Christ gives you.
So as you begin this morning, lift your heart to God and ask Him to guide your steps. Just as He sustains the life around you, trust that He will provide what you need to grow in Him, one day at a time.

When was the last time you had a heart-to-heart talk with the God of all creation? The One who formed the heavens and the earth also desires to have a personal relationship with you.
As you keep Him before you with thanksgiving and praise, your walk with Him stays fresh, and prayer becomes more natural when you speak to Him as you would to a trusted friend. In those quiet moments, you may begin to recognize His guiding hand in your life and find peace in knowing that the Creator of all things is always near.
When you continue to open your heart to Him, you become more aware of His loving presence and care. Even in times of uncertainty, you can trust that the One who holds all creation in His hands is also guiding your life.
So today, take a moment to talk with God as you would with a friend, remembering that the Creator of the universe is never too distant to hear your prayers.
Share your prayer request in the comments or visit awr.org/inspire. We will pray with you.
