For our game we've been exploring the different types of missions you can make for an RTS/TD:
1. Wave Survival, for the TD flavour
2. Duels, for the RTS flavour
3. Breakthroughs/Chases, where you smash through enemy defences while being pursued
4. Army Attacks, fixed units to attack with and it is a puzzle
5. Unit Control, where you gain control of a unique unit to accomplish objectives
Each mission tends to be a combination of all of these to create unique experiences!

Our game features massive armies, but what if you want to get in there yourself?
When our artist asked it was a bit of a joke, but we released it was a really fun way to play the game.
And soon we were adding missions where you can drive around in a super tank, or fly around in a zombie tossing zepplin.
