Our culture romanticizes the idea of a workaholic.. applauding when people lose themselves over projects. but working more doesnt equate caring more or getting more things done... It just means you chose to work extra & willing to put more of your time into something than other things or people. Idk bout u but I think its a bigger flex to have boundaries on time because you want to see your children grow up. theres a certain power one can take back when they start putting themselves first. You see them start taking care of sleep more, they smile more, work out more, pray more, have deeper moments with family & faith. We cant pour from an empty cup afterall.. so be kinder to yourself. You deserve all the love you give others 🫶
