A Lagosian who hasn’t seen light for 10 days will trek through smelly streets, dodging like a thousand street thugs, to jump on a bus with wooden seats, & still have the audacity to tell someone living in ABK or Ib that they are living in a village.
Highly recommend being friends with ambitious people. Their drive pushes you to also work hard for yourself. They inspire you to do better, be better. Their good traits rub off on you. You start to want better for yourself and you grow.
ngl after uni, i’ve gotten a much better perspective to what i call friendships like 90% of niggas i thought were my closest people haven’t talked to me since we graduated.
