Guy Incognito replied to my post stating "We already have taken a closer look at what we believe, why don’t you? If the so called Christians were correct they wouldn’t have to lie" But he also blocked me. Not sure why.

I have asked posters to fact check my post. And I have given them instructions how to do it. tClick on my post and then hit the Grok logo on the top right corner and enter "fact check". If there is something that I have written that is false I will retract it.

True to the Faith Replying to @az_oak "If Jesus had come today instead, you would have killed him because he went against your traditions." True to the faith replied to my post saying the above then blocked me.

I was going to ask him what he meant by this and how he came to this conclusion but since he blocked me I guess I will never find out. Does anyone else have any idea what he meant by this post??

Christianity teaches that we all sin and fall short LDS teaches that perfection is required for exaltation and that perfection is an attainable goal. Yet many LDS today don't hold that belief. Why?? I will give a couple of references below. Source check references with Grok.

"Let me say, then, that perfection is still our goal. It is reached by climbing steadily upward, controlling all our desires, impulses, and urges. It is possible. Paul indicated that all could attain perfection.' Spencer W Kimball 1974 BYU

D&C 58:42–43 42 Behold, he who has repented of his sins, the same is forgiven, and I, the Lord, remember them no more. 43 By this ye may know if a man repenteth of his sins—behold, he will confess them and forsake them.

1 Nephi 3:7 “. . .I will go and do the things which the Lord hath commanded, for I know that the Lord giveth no commandments unto the children of men, save he shall prepare a way for them that they may accomplish the thing which he commandeth them.”

.… If ye shall deny yourselves of ALL UNGODLINESS, and love God with all your might, mind and strength, THEN is his grace sufficient for you, that by his grace ye may be perfect in Christ.” (Moroni 10:32)

LDS rests on the premise that the Bible has been completely corrupted thus a restoration of the truth was necessary. This restored it to the way it was during the time of Jesus. If this was the case then why the changes in Mormonism since that time?

So the LDS church wasn't a "restoration" of the original Church?

Question: Is Jesus Christ the savior of other worlds? ". . .The generally accepted interpretation of this verse is that if Jesus is the creator of many worlds, and the inhabitants of these worlds are children of the Father (both by birth and by covenant). . ."FAIR cont.

LDS are nice, helpful, and try to follow good moral values. They are sincere when they say that they beleive they follow the true restored gospel. I think most would agree with this. So the real question is are they right? cont.

cont. LDS members owe it to themselves to at least look at some issues witht the church because eternity is a long time. A good source and one that I think is fair is the CES Letter by Jeremy Runnells. read.cesletter.org

"People of my generation grew up thinking Joseph Smith looked through the Urim and Thummim, saw an English translation of the Nephite text, and dictated the words to a scribe who wrote them down. More recently historians, to the surprise and shock of many. . ." Richard Bushman

Just curious if this is common knowledge among LDS members. Back in 2014 when I visited the Whitmer Farm in New York and asked the missionary tour guide if she ever heard that she said never.

Richard Bushman cont". . . have drawn attention to historical sources that describe Joseph Smith looking through a seerstone that he put in a hat to keep out the light. He dictated the words which he saw in the stone while the records lay covered on the table."
