As Chairman of the House Education Committee, I passed the most comprehensive school safety legislation in decades and expanded access to educational services for children with special needs. I’m a former teacher and school board member, and I know how important it is to put our students FIRST! I’d be honored to have your vote on or before Nov. 3rd. MattGress.com

REMINDER: Your ballot is about more than just the names at the top. You’re deciding the direction of the state for years to come. 👉 Whether families keep more of what they earn or face higher costs on groceries and driving. 👉 Whether government can track and tax every mile you travel or you protect your freedom to move. 👉 Whether taxpayer dollars go toward real results and classrooms or stay buried in bureaucracy and excuses. 👉 Whether election rules prioritize integrity, ID, and faster results or leave the door open to more delays and outside influence. 👉 Whether girls’ sports and private spaces stay fair and safe, or ideology overrides basic biology. 👉 Whether Arizona prioritizes individual freedom and transparency or expands government power and preferential treatment. These decisions don’t end on Election Day. Their consequences last for generations. Know before you vote: azballot.org/

🚨 Tempe wants to raise your taxes. With families already facing higher costs, Tempe officials are asking voters to approve another sales tax increase. Prop 424 would raise Tempe’s city sales tax from 1.8% to 2.3%. City officials say the additional revenue would fund public safety, transit, and preschool programs. But critics are raising serious questions about spending priorities, fiscal accountability, and whether taxpayers should be asked to pay more. Shouldn't City Hall have to answer for its spending before asking residents for another dime? Tempe voters will have the final say on November 3. Read the full article: azfree.org/blog/2026/10/20/v…

Arizona’s investments should deliver returns, not advance a political agenda. @NortonforAZ Elijah Norton, candidate for Arizona State Treasurer, sat down with @ScotMussi to discuss ESG, DEI, and the principles that should guide how Arizona invests taxpayer dollars. Norton’s approach puts merit first: invest in companies that hire based on ability and performance and prioritize the best returns for Arizonans. Taxpayer dollars demand results, not racial quotas. RED FLAG🚩: Emails show Kris Mayes’ AG office asked the ACLU and Prison Law Office—groups that spent years suing Arizona prisons and advocate major reductions in incarceration—for help hiring the lawyers who would represent the Department of Corrections. And yet she campaigns as moderate and pro-police. Worth reading before you vote. 👇
NEW INVESTIGATION at @FoxNews → Democrat @KrisMayes secretly gave "abolish prisons" and "defund the police" groups control over her hiring decisions at the AG's Office, according to internal emails. foxnews.com/politics/moderat… #AZAG

The Arizona Free Enterprise Club supports @CarineWerner and her commitment to keeping Arizona’s kids safe. That means safer schools, stronger protections for children, fully funded law enforcement, and preserving fairness in girls’ sports. These are real issues that affect Arizona families every day, and they deserve leaders willing to stand up for kids. #CarineWerner #Arizona #AZPolitics #ProtectOurKids #PublicSafety #GirlsSports #KeepAZFree
🚨 NEW Video! As a mom, I’ll always fight for every kid in Arizona. That means funding our schools, increasing reporting requirements for abuse, and fully funding law enforcement to keep our neighborhoods safe. At the Capitol, I voted to keep guys out of girls' sports because every girl deserves to feel safe and have a fair chance to compete. We've accomplished a lot - together. From passing 21 bipartisan bills to balancing the budget while reducing your taxes, I’ll keep fighting to ensure the next generation has the chance to learn, compete, and succeed.

🚨 NEW EPISODE OUT NOW! 🚨 Arizona’s State Treasurer is responsible for overseeing and investing billions of dollars in public funds, but most voters rarely hear about the office. In Episode 20 of The State Room: Arizona, Scot Mussi sits down with Elijah Norton, business owner and Republican nominee for Arizona State Treasurer, to talk about protecting taxpayer dollars, increasing accountability, and keeping politics out of state investments. They discuss: ✅ How Arizona should manage and invest public funds ✅ Norton’s proposed “Arizona Audit” to identify waste, fraud, and abuse ✅ How the Treasurer can serve as a watchdog for taxpayers ✅ ESG and politically driven investment strategies ✅ Bringing private-sector experience into government ✅ What Norton would prioritize if elected in November The Treasurer may not be the most visible statewide office, but the decisions made there can have a major impact on Arizona taxpayers. 🎥 Watch Episode 20 of The State Room: Arizona now. youtu.be/mO6_Ujs2NlQ #TheStateRoom #ElijahNorton #AZPolitics #Arizona #TaxpayerProtection #GovernmentAccountability #KeepAZFree

Where did the money go? Arizona taxpayers deserve answers. @NortonforAZ (Elijah Norton), candidate for Arizona State Treasurer, sat down with @ScotMussi to discuss his proposal for a comprehensive Arizona audit and stronger oversight of taxpayer dollars. Norton wants to work with the Legislature to examine five to ten years of state finances, identify waste, fraud, and abuse, and uncover what existing oversight has missed. Taxpayers deserve to know how their money is being spent and who is being held accountable. Watch their full conversation on The State Room Episode 020: youtu.be/mO6_Ujs2NlQ

Dear Katie Hobbs, campaign season does not erase the last four years. Under your administration, the only direction Arizona has gone is backwards. ❎ Job growth: 4th → 47th ❎ Record vetoes ❎ Multi-billion surplus → deficit ❎ Plunging affordability & exploding housing costs ❎ Unemployment higher than the national average ❎ Lost 250 million gallons of Arizona water rights ❎ Overdose deaths up while the nation declined Arizonans deserve better.
Arizona is moving forward, and we’re not turning back. We’ve worked together to accomplish so much for Arizonans, but there’s more work to do. I’m running for re-election to keep lowering costs, cut wasteful spending, and secure our water future.

NEW DATA: Nearly 8 in 10 Arizona voters say taxpayers are getting a poor return on public schools—including a majority of Democrats. Those same voters also support school choice. That’s why the superintendent race matters. Kimberly Yee is running to put public schools back to basics (phonics, traditional math, vocational skills), cut the political distractions and indoctrination that pull time from academics, and bring real financial accountability to the system. Arizona parents know the status quo is failing; the system just won’t admit it. Full story: dailysignal.com/2026/10/12/a…

The radical record of Kamala Harris as California AG speaks for itself - she championed some of the most extreme policies in the country. The fact that she's celebrating the work of Kris Mayes is a huge red flag for Arizona voters.
VIDEO: Kamala Harris praises her close friend @KrisMayes: "Kris Mayes, who just tore up the floor … Some of the work that I have done … that's who she is."

Mark Kelly wants to protect the teachers’ unions’ funding machine. Arizona parents want options AND results for their kids. In Arizona, public schools are struggling academically and fiscally—only about 41% of students are proficient in reading and 34% in math, while instructional spending has fallen to its lowest share of district budgets since tracking began. This is an administrative accountability problem, not a funding problem. And definitely not an ESA problem. As Treasurer, Kimberly Yee has managed billions with transparency and accountability. As Superintendent she’ll protect ESAs and put taxpayer dollars toward real learning—phonics, traditional math, and results—not waste, bureaucracy, or indoctrination.
Every kid deserves a good public education. From kindergarten to college, public schools changed my life. Every kid deserves that shot regardless of their zip code or their parents’ income. That’s why Republicans’ national school voucher program is a bad idea. It drains resources from schools and benefits the wealthy. I'm fighting to stop it so we can keep improving our public schools.

🚨 Kris Mayes just admitted something we’ve been pointing out for months: Governor Katie Hobbs simply didn’t want to sit down and be interviewed in the Sunshine Residential Homes investigation. After Sunshine and its CEO poured more than $580,000 into Hobbs, the Arizona Democratic Party, and related funds, her administration gave them a special rate increase that made them one of the highest-paid group home providers in the state — while other providers were cut. Internal messages even talked about keeping the arrangement quiet from competitors. Hobbs refused a formal interview for more than two years. Mayes’ office went quiet for long stretches, tried to pull the probe away from the Auditor General and Maricopa County Attorney, and then closed the investigation and declined charges months before the election — even though Hobbs never sat for questions. A closed investigation is not the same thing as a clean one.
HUGE! @krismayes admits @katiehobbs simply didn’t want to be interviewed for her pay to play bribery allegations! Is that how this works? Can we all just tell the AG no? Mayes is a chump. Hobbs is corrupt. Did Mayes just throw Hobbs under the bus? They don’t like each other.

Once again, Katie Hobbs looks just like a California Democrat. She’s just as partisan, has made life just as unaffordable, and is just as unwilling to defend her record on a debate stage. Now she wants another four years while refusing to answer for the last four. Politicians with a record worth defending usually show up to defend it. #DontCAmyAZ
🚨 NEW: Becerra just dodged another debate. This one was on ZOOM! UCLA wanted us to debate agriculture policy. I said yes right away. He said he was “booked up for the remainder of the YEAR.” Doing what?! Farmers are getting crushed in this state and Becerra doesn’t think they’re worth his time. Pathetic!

ALERT: Arizona families are hearing Kris Mayes claim she’s fighting high utility bills. Two problems: First, in 2009 as Corporation Commission chair she openly said higher water prices that reduce use are “a good thing” and suggested “maybe the price needs to go up.” Second, intervening in rate cases and energy policy fights isn’t the Attorney General’s job. The Arizona Corporation Commission has the constitutional authority to set rates. The AG’s office traditionally stayed out of this—Mayes is the first to jump in. This looks less like representing Arizonans and more like promoting a personal political agenda. When someone both changes their position and steps outside their role, it’s fair to ask whose interests are actually being served. Full story: azfreenews.com/2026/10/mayes…

🚨 Page’s Main Street. Page’s Decision. Lake Powell Boulevard is more than just a road. It connects families, local businesses, and thousands of visitors heading to Lake Powell. But a city proposal to cut the road from four lanes to two has sparked years of opposition from residents. Now, Page voters will have their say this November with Proposition 406. The measure would require voter approval before the city could reduce vehicle lanes along Lake Powell Boulevard. 🚗 Four lanes or two? The people of Page will have a voice in that decision.
