We’re delighted to announce the appointment of Rob Edwards as our new head coach.
Welcome to Boro, Rob! 🔴⚪️
Neil Warnock on Chuba Akpom last season: “I never really thought he deserved a run of games because whenever I used him he didn’t perform and it’s one of those things.”
A year later, he is the joint top scorer in the Championship with 12 goals in 17 games.
One player who I think will thrive under Carrick is Hayden Hackney. Gets stuck in defensively, has a lot of energy going forward and a good shot. Will want to cement his place in the first team
- Worked alongside Sir Alex Ferguson, Moyes, Van Gaal, Mourinho & Solskjaer
- Bringing in his own backroom staff and has the final say on transfers
- Will have contacts at United so can bring in some players on loan
Michael Carrick is the right man to take Boro forward 👍
I know the cup isn’t important but think Wilder missed a trick by not playing his strongest 11. Not won a game this season yet and today was a good opportunity to pick up some momentum 🤷🏻♂️
Josh Coburn is our best finisher when it comes to our strikers and will get the most goals of the 5 options, and deserves a run of games in my opinion. Has never been given a proper chance.
