Spent the day bringing up an old vacuum system with @szeloof and I think he got progressively more annoyed each time I pronounced "degas" like a French artist
I bought a box of random gemstones. With help from @szeloof, an electron microscope, and an x-ray spectrometer, we're figuring out what each one is. Strong presence of aluminum and oxygen on this blue stone indicates that it's likely Sapphire.
At a classical concert with @Sadkins65 and the kid behind us just said "Vivaldi? More like Vivaldeez Nuts"
Adam Zeloof (@[email protected]) retweeted
Oh you said footprints? Sorry I thought you said make a foot that prints...
At the urging of @Sadkins65, I've listed a few jewelry pieces for sale on my website. I know most of you follow me for engineering content, but it would mean a lot if you would take a look! adam.zeloof.xyz/shop/
GameBoy earrings! Thanks to @Eduardo3rd for lending me the buttons to cast from
Coworker said he was looking forward to seeing the new Indiana Jones movie starring Henry Ford, who I called "Michigan Jones" and nobody laughed so now I'm tweeting it instead
GameBoy camera -> inkjet transparency prints -> cyanotypes
ALT A 3x3 grid of Cyanotype prints, all dyed different colors. Each print is a square and features a low-resolution, highly pixelated photo of a man.
ALT The same grid of images before they were dyed different colors. All are blue.
ALT A kitchen counter covered by a mess of Cyanotype prints, paper towels, and containers of liquid
ALT One of the prints in a metal pot, soaking in an amber liquid
