Ok I’m not arguing with people anymore about their selfish antisocial tendencies. Go be horrible friends. Just don’t expect sympathy when your kids are teenagers and nobody answers your texts anymore because you spent the last decade flaking on them.

When you think of an unforgettable person, do you remember what they said, how they looked, or how your body felt around them?

In laymans terms, Titanium implants are strong and the body accepts them, but they’re way too stiff because the metal takes almost all the pressure, the real bone next to it gets lazy and starts to weaken over time (like a muscle that doesn’t get used). This was the issue with earlier titanium implants and joint replacements the new implant though are made from a special zinc alloy shaped like a lightweight, sponge-like lattice it is flexible and almost like real bone, so it shares the load properly and doesn’t cause that weakening problem Whats REALLY fucking cool is that its also designed to dissolve over time So its a temporary implant, and as it dissolves, it releases minerals and ions that actually promote your new, healthy bone in its place When the job is done, the implant is mostly gone and your own bone has taken over and is the proper strength -medical engineering is a marvel
today while talkin to my friend (who’s a doctor) I learned something really crazy That the titanium implants don't just sit in bone they actually bone grows into them the oxide layer on titanium surface is chemically close enough to biological tissue that cells can't find the boundary so they erase it osseointegration isn't the implant holding on it's biology deciding the metal belongs there the skeleton adopts the foreign object as its own Cyborg vibes

mothers will die on this hill and in the next breath complain that their childless female friends have stopped talking to them
You guys realize that one of the greatest joys of motherhood is never again having to do any of the tedious and unfulfilling social rituals you were forced to do so you could increase your odds of finding a man who wanted to have kids with you

I deeply hate male-centered BITCHES because what do you mean you guys hang out with your friends in order to find a man??? Not to love on your girls, not to support them, not to chat, not to vent, not to laugh...but to find a man??? May the loneliness you search for find you.

Girls please do not accept to be in a one-sided relationship just because you are single and/or childfree. You also deserve friends who see you and pour into you too. We are all busy. We all have things going on. Let friendships that see you as less than shrivel & die away
If your friend has a baby and you don’t have kids, you have to be the one to put in more effort in maintaining the friendship. That’s part of being in mama’s tribe. Don’t take it personal if she isn’t hitting you up first. She’s raising a freaking human being lol

Exactly my point! Women who advocate for one-sided friendships will NEVER reciprocate the grace you extended because they are takers, and only know how to take.
Sorry not sorry, I no longer subscribe to that shit. I have learned the hard way that people are ungrateful, entitled and unappreciative. Then to add insult to injury, when it’s their turn to be there for you, their excuse is, sorry I have a kid or they just never turn up.

Last week they were telling us that childfree/single girlies must be content with one-sided friendship from them because they have kids. That all effort must come from the childfree person. And to that I said NO WAY BECAUSE ALL RELATIONSHIPS NEED EQUAL EFFORT
A lot of married couples with kids just don't want to admit that they don't want to put in effort with their other relationships anymore so they justify it by villainizing childfree, single people. I know married couples who have a strong village bc they still put effort!

And this is why childfree people should surround ourselves with other childfree people. We must bend over backwards to accommodate friends with kids, but they would never, in a million years, do the same for you.

Staying close to your children when they can't even talk yet isn't "forfeiting your life". You can also have tons of friends that you do life-stage related things with. I go to the zoo or playground with friends or we go to each other's homes for playdates and bbqs. None of that requires leaving my child for even one night. Seriously, calm down.

women judge you for not wanting to get married then this is their life
A postpartum women showed up to the ER with her anus so destroyed she needed surgery to fix it. Her partner forced her into it because I said "nothing in the vagina for 6 weeks" and this low life convinced her she had to do that to keep him happy. Men are not lonely enough.

I think one of the unfortunate things abt being accommodating is that ppl eventually stop recognizing your flexibility as something you're choosing to give them. It becomes the baseline for the relationship. Then the first time you prioritize yourself, you’re demonized
