Games I Beat in 2026
Game 1: Final Fantasy. Super charming and basic. Generic enemies mixed with future series staples. Good to see where it came from. Went in blind, made many mistakes. Chaos, especially in the Pixel Remaster, was one of the worst, hardest endgame bosses I've fought. However, it was one of the most satisfying. Overall: B+
Wisconsin is going to become Illinois and Minnesota man. Just sad

Just got home from seeing Godzilla minus 0.
Spoiler-free thoughts:
The movie was really good. It fixed one of my minor issues with the first film and turned it into a writing strength. Some dips dragged a bit longer than I liked. Overall, the monster moments were kick-ass. I wonder what they’ll do with this Godzilla reboot. The writing staff can lay out subtle groundwork that pays off later, and I’m already wanting to see where they take it.
A-
I've finally reached my wits' end with Wolverine. I'm bored with this game. The combat isn't great enough to continue, and the story is stupid and uninspired. I don't even have a grade for it. I don't recommend it it isn't worth the $40. Massive step back from even Spider-Man 2's story writing, which I didn't like either.
Okay, I’m just going to say: fucking stop pretending this was voter fraud.
Trump was literally fighting the entire world. He angered farmers with higher fuel costs and trade deals. TDS is still very real and creates a big floor. He lost independents by 20 points. Republicans who voted still liked him, but his coalition was broken. Even in red areas, he didn’t get the massive turnout needed to counter this wave. The polls weren’t wrong; we just didn’t believe them.
While you spent your time catering to the insane conspiracy-theory crowd, you didn’t realize those same people abandoned him and went back to voting for gay libertarians. The Iran war pushed it over the edge. It’s time for Trump to get back on track and focus on America. The Dems are clearly going to fuck it up, so capitalize. This ass-beating was needed.
Many on the left overlook how many people see this win as Trump being finished. They will now blame the House and Senate for failing to deliver on everything, including government shutdowns. The Fauci stuff was fun but didn’t make people vote against Biden.
I do find it scary that Dems are pushing now to get ride of the electoral college to push this popular vote act. It’s very scary.
This is why the Epstein stuff won't do anything. I'm tired of hearing "but Trump's name was in the file" when we had a live text exchange here with now, a territory governor.
It’s only gotten so much worst over these 11 years. But you can’t talk to people about it
Salon will forever be remembered as the outlet that tried to normalize pedophilia.
In 2015, they published an article titled "I'm a pedophile, not a monster." In one passage, author and self-proclaimed good person Todd Nickerson proudly recounted a story in which he'd resisted the urge to molest a child.
After a week of much deserved blowback, they doubled down with a follow-up rant by Nickerson titled, "I'm a pedophile, you're the monsters: my week inside the vile right-wing hate machine." The outlet attempted to paint him as an innocent victim of online harassment.
Lots more backlash. Eventually someone quietly deleted both articles. But the internet remembers.
Good riddance. I hope you all struggle to find jobs elsewhere.
It’s really that simple they just hate you
"The Electoral College may have died yesterday."
Scott Galloway and Jessica Tarlov celebrate the idea of ending the Electoral College deciding the US president.
Galloway: "The National Popular Vote Compact basically does away with the Electoral College."
"Democracy has been perverted to a small number of states."
"Last night, the three Republican states that went all blue in terms of their legislature and their governor needed to go over 270, elected Democrats across the board."
"We stop obsessing over and spending $3,000 for every soccer mom in some town in Wisconsin."
Tarlov: "it seems great. And it's also logical, which would be a good thing to be able to be logical in the way that we elect people."
Galloway and Tarlov want to "pervert" the Constitution and strip the voice of Americans in smaller states.
Democrats want to abolish the EC entirely, but this is how they try to subvert it in the meantime.
"Raging Moderates"
Bro, who wrote this Wolverine story? It's so damn boring. Was it written with AI? It's so lifeless. Even Ninja Gaiden 4's combat at least tried to be flashy. Makes me want to play older Insomniac games. I'm struggling to finish this game.
First win post midterms
Today, after 31 years, we are saddened to announce that Salon is ceasing publication. It has been an extraordinary privilege. salon.com/2026/11/05/goodbye…
Stop saying the election was stolen. The data shows that's not the case. You got your asses kicked. It happens. Get your head out of your butt and learn from what you did wrong, because cope-posting doesn't work.
