The 4-0 #Badgers take advantage of some stumbling teams ahead of them (DU tied, UND swept, MSU split with UNH, WMU loss to UM) and move up to 2. I’m sure the exhibition win played into this a bit as well. Either way, it’ll be #2 Wisconsin vs NR Notre Dame this weekend in Madison.

Badgers take the exhibition in dominant fashion! And as has been the case so often this year, no player has multiple goals. Total team effort.

A brutal turnover by the Broncos sets up the easiest goal Zach Wooten will ever score 4-0 UW 3 minutes to go

SOLOMON!!! Another rush goal for the Badgers as he outworks Neumeier and finds the loose puck to extend the lead. 2nd 9:55 UW 3-0 WMU

GRADY WITH A BEAUTY!!!! He beats Moffatt short side high off the rush and the Badgers have some breathing room! 2nd 14:42 UW 2-0 WMU

Back for the second!

It was a VERY chippy first period between these two teams. Honestly a shame this game doesn't count, it feels like playoff hockey. Western Michigan with an abbreviated 4 on 3 to start the 2nd period. A Jette shorty has UW up 1-0 after 1.

CHASE JETTE SHORTY! The #Badgers strike first on the penalty kill! 1st 4:30 UW 1-0 WMU

First media timeout in KZoo. Good looks for both sides, but the Broncos with slightly better opportunities so far. Great defense and goaltending from both sides in the early going. 1st 12:03 UW 0-0 WMU

No. 6 #Badgers and #5 Western Michigan will play in Kalamazoo for the first time since 1981 in a Saturday evening exhibition. Follow along here for updates! Lines below:
