My ApeFest thoughts and highlights, coming to you a few days late:
- It was amazing to see so many familiar faces. There are so many new names on the timeline, I was worried I wouldn't know many people. Total opposite. Felt like a reunion with a bunch of old friends.
- The OGs are all getting older. I ran into one of my old colleagues and the first thing he said to me was "You look older!" (Thanks @aloksahay ๐
). I know it's not just me though. It's been five years since mint, and many of us now have more greys, more kids, more wrinkles, etc.
- That speaks to the value of new blood and onboarding the next generation of apes. The club needs to evolve with crypto culture and the broader culture to stay relevant, and that's something we should embrace.
- Absolutely loved the surprise Mudwater drop. Super impressed with everybody @ Yuga and Ape for keeping it so well under wraps.
- Thought not doing a keynote was a really smart move by Figge. Return to underpromising and overdelivering. Surprise and delight.
- One of my favourite moments was going head to head with @badte_eth for the BAYC trait game championship. We played 11 rounds and he edged me out. But come on, I knew I was cooked as soon as I saw my opposition was the creator of Rara Avis ๐
- Final thought: Muddy's was my favourite venue. Felt like I was in the real life clubhouse there. Would love see more BAYC events in locations like that.
Tagging a bunch of friends I appreciated catching up with, even briefly. I know there are others I'm forgetting.
Great to see you all. Can't wait till next year

Still here.
Made it to Charleston for my 6th ApeFest. Iโve been off X for both my sanity and busy with work, but running into so many apes Iโve met over the years reminds me exactly what I love about the club.
The people that made the connecting flights actually want to be here. No one is buying an ape just to try to get rich, and most of the grifters have been washed away with the market turbulence.
A bunch of interesting people, from all walks of life, connected by monkey jpegs, a CEO, and team of people that give a shit. Thatโs the Bored Ape Yacht Club.
Never left.

35% of all rescued assets have already been returned.
Keep pushing and spreading the word. Lots of people who don't check twitter may not even know they have recoverable assets.

This is a public appreciation post for my girl, @tigerisfine ๐ฏ
Known by many as the creatoor behind @finethelabel and all the iconic merch remixes, the driving force behind @clubhouseandco, the heart and soul of Thirsty Thursdays, and the newly ordained โMerch Museโโฆ she may now need to add โMerch Muleโ to her bio ๐คฃ
Iโve smuggled @288gang whiskey into the Philippines to hand-deliver to @jbondwagon. Iโve snuck @frenschocolates into Australia to share with the @AussieApes. Iโve secretly packed water, beer, and merch for delivery to other apes in Canada, Hong Kong, and Lisbon.
And over the years, Iโve also been lucky enough to receive some incredible pieces myself, usually limited/IRL-only @ApeChainHUB merch shipped from Vegas, Denver, New York, Paris, Korea, and beyond by a few absolute LEGENDS! You know who you are ๐
This concept of the โInternational Ape Delivery Networkโ is honestly one of my favorite parts of this club. Itโs not about the distance traveled or even the merch itself. Itโs about that connection to another club member. Someone that is willing to go the extra mile for another ape because you would do the same for themโฆfor the culture โ
I realized this years ago when I used to mail orange beanies to apes all over the world. Sending them was almost as rewarding as receiving something in return.
But todayโฆ I was definitely on the receiving end.
Thank you, @tigerisfine ๐ซถ

PSA: A lot of you are following this sophisticated scammer network pretending to be a podcast (@0xBlockLayerPod).
They recently hacked @ROBNESSOFFICIAL and a few others.
I will tag all their known accounts below, please go through and at least unfollow them so they don't borrow your reputation to scam others.

Today is my birthday!๐ฅณ๐๐
I usually donโt announce it on socials, but this year Iโm launching my new Chikai Films website!
My birthday wish is for you to subscribe to my new YT channel!๐ (link in comment below)
The new site is where my film work will reside. Iโve found that my film practice is very distinct from my art practice and it needed its own home. Iโll be posting new short films on the YT channel and the vertical shorts that you may have already seen here on X. Iโve realized that the characters Iโve created in my shorts is a direct reflection of my inner monologue and they also happen to be AI agents that Iโve created within my cinematic AI workflow that I have given names too. It should be a fun way to see what is going through my mind as I make my films.
Thanks for all of your support!
