To be fair lots of people I talk to in real life seem to understand cost-benefit calculations under COVID just fine, but this website tends to amplify stupidity among a certain class of neurotic weirdos.
The fact people are sharing this response to @NateSilver538's argument for cost-benefit analysis is further evidence of his point: many people simply can't understand cost-benefit thinking at all!
