I 100 percent agree with Litman.
Rather than moderates (boo! hiss!) voters are looking for people who solve problems (there's a whole problem solvers caucus!) and who say things they agree with.
It's all about schmoderation.

Agree with all this. Moderate vs progressive is not the right axis to evaluate candidates (and it’s not how most voters understand themselves.) They want people who will solve their problems competently and who can speak to their emotional reality, not gaslight them by saying “no, you’re wrong, the economy is good” or “that’s a distraction.”

Last night, Sen. Andy Kim (D-NJ) told me something I keep thinking about: While Democrats may want to celebrate, they need to remember that this isn't a sporting event. This is Americans sending the strongest signal possible that they are in pain, and hurting, and want help. Now Congress needs to answer that call. It was powerful stuff, and if the party is smart they'll follow his instincts.

If you are watching this and just have a passing familiarity with elections, just understand you're seeing something special, a 100-year flood. Easily the worst election for a party since 1974.

Today's consensus across states w/ robust data: turnout is decent but not earth-shattering, and GOP voters/areas account for a disproportionate share of the decline vs. 2024.
The rate at which independents break for Dems will determine whether tonight is a wave or a wipeout.

Stop posting shit like this and vote like Dems are behind by 20 points in every race.
That's a wrap!

This post is misleading. By saying “that’s a wrap!” And posting projected election results, it suggests the elections have already happened and the results are known. In fact, the post is only referring to the end of polling, while the election itself is on Tuesday.

If you still trust anything Elon Musk says on this platform you are really not paying attention. He lies with abandon, even about himself, and regularly undercuts comments he made 48 hours before. It’s crazy people still worship at the altar.

You have got to be f**king kidding me… an 18 hole golf course that fully absorbs the entirety of Hains Point. Disgusting and shameful acts by Department of Interior.
We have been saying this for MONTHS.

It's just so incredibly obvious to me that we need to shift the safety net away from pensioners and toward children, young families, and young adults who are on their journey to starting families.

They also have the least poverty, the least personal debt, the least expenses, the highest financial satisfaction, and highest share of millionaires.
Yet they receive 10x as much federal spending (per capita) as those ages 25 and younger. That seems sub-optimal.

The most damaging Trump campaign ad for Harris, according to both camps, featured clips of her saying, “Bidenomics is working.”
I have yet to see a Dem ad showing Trump talking about how great the economy is or how gas prices aren’t that high. I don’t get it
Ryan Wagner, a conservative in Michigan, has had a slow-motion realization that Trump is lying to Americans
When he hears Trump talk about how much food prices have gone down, “my freaking eye is twitching.”
“I can’t even listen to him talk anymore"
