We are saddened to hear of the passing of '22 Kingfish infielder, Kevin Bushnell.
Our hearts are with his friends and family in this difficult time. We will remember Kevin's time in Kenosha with a moment of silence on Tuesday night.

One of the best guys I’ve ever shared the field with. You made everyone around you better. Rest easy Kev, your legacy will never be forgotten. ❤️

I don’t think I’ll ever meet a more God-fearing, humble, hard working person than Kev. He showed us all what it took to be successful in life day in, day out. Time to break heavens home run record now Kev, until we meet again brotha ❤️

Each and every day is a gift, don’t ever take one for granted. I can’t express how blessed I am to have called Kevin a friend. I am certainly a better person because of the time I spent with him. So many great memories that will last forever. Love you, Kev.

Hardworking, dedicated, kindhearted, and your faithful are just a few ways to describe Bush. You showed me how a strong work ethic and a faith in God can take you far. I’m forever grateful for the memories we shared. Love you Kev❤️Until me meet again brother ❤️

I will forever cherish the friendship I had with Bush. When I was around him, he inspired me to be the best version of myself. The world lost an incredible young man today. Rest in peace Kev. In another life I know we will get another round of bp in. Love you brother ❤️

Thank you for being a brother and role model.
Your passion for the game bled into me. When I got to Benedictine, I strived to be just like you.
You cared for me like I was family.
Love you Bush.

Im having trouble finding the right words right now. Kevin was like a son to me. He was the hardest worker and just the best person around. He would do anything for anyone. I will miss him so much. Life is too short and simply not fair sometimes. Love you so much Bush.

You showed me what a real warrior looked like. You showed me what Never Die Easy meant. I never thought I would be saying goodbye this early Kev. I know you’re in paradise right now and I look forward to the day I can join you! Life will never be the same, I love you so much bro.

I am forever grateful for the time I spent at BenU. I am blessed to have called it home for my first 2 years of college.
That being said, I’ve decided to commit to NIU for my remaining 2 years. Thank you to @ryancopelandNIU, @JKelchNIU, and staff for giving me this opportunity!
