Have been listening to @arxxband for last few months following a @stevenansell tweet. Got to mix them today at kendal calling and they are a slab of awesome noise. Did not disappoint live (and I am v.pleased about that). Didn’t get round to phaser on drums sadly. Sorry Steve.
How do I get in contact with your UK service department @RolandGlobal ? The phone line to my former contacts there is just a message saying don't call this number, email doesn't work, your online parts request form results in no replies, I can't DM you?
Thanks in advance!
Standing at foh in front of the mixing desk - 55-60 yr old lady behind me throws a plastic pint (with some liquid in it) at my head.
“Why did you do that?”
“You were in my way. I couldn’t see”
“You’ll see even less of the show if that hits the desk!”
🤯🙄
Was watching Star Wars last night. I think the post office could update the royal insignia: E II R could become Charles III Post Office, or:
C3-PO
Congratulations - name checked in the headline - surely fame and fortune await sound engineer and “one man entourage” @backseatpete 👑 👏👏👏👏👏

Sometimes, just when I think I’ve forgotten what a gig is, a small reminder that other people still remember…
Last gig pre lockdown - and it was very good. Recorded, mixed and (everything but the vinyl) mastered by me. ☺️
Available on vinyl & Spotify etc.
A couple of the songs are on YouTube if you want to feel like you’re at a gig again 😢
It’s been a year since we played our best ever gig at @O2academybrix. We recorded it and it’s AVAILABLE NOW on this pink flare smoked vinyl! Can’t wait to see you all again some day very soon 🧨 dmas.lnk.to/brixtonalbumTW
The events industry is still here - not sure how - and hanging on by its fingernails. CRF reached 5% of our industry.

Thanks @cajardineMP for your support for #WeMakeEvents
@RishiSunak - please engage with our industry. We are viable, but need to make it to next year when you will let us work again.
Supporting the socially distanced, silent #WeMakeEvents protest in College Green, where they are demanding the UK Govt provide financial support for creative industries. We need these industries, now is the time to help!
Proud to stand for #WeMakeEvents today in Parliament Square.
The Government needs to listen to the events industry.
#standasone
Very proud to have this letter in The Times today. Live events, staff, Freelancers and Companies need government help.
#WeMakeEvents - politics team
Thanks to @OwenThompson for raising this issue. The events industry employs 18x the people that steel industry does, and generates 19x the income. And is going to do none of that for the country if it left to wither away through inaction.
At #PMQs I urged extended support for the thousands of skilled jobs reliant on festivals and events that can’t safely go ahead right now. The answer from Boris Johnson? Get back to work. #WeAreEvents

It’s happening - Manchester March to support the events industry.
We need
1. Furlough extension for the industry
2. SEISS extension
3. Grants for companies forced to stop work

Great to speak with #WeMakeEvents The £1.57bn Gov Covid package helps arts & theatre. Support for small venues is welcome but people are the talent in the music economy. Their knowledge is the economy. Their skills will put the show back on the road. Gov must extend furlough.
Dan Martin was a 70’s music journalist working in the 00’s - he had balls, got into scrapes and made me laugh. RIP (Rest in Parties).
