@HospitalsApollo This is UNACCEPTABLE negligence and mistreatment of my mother at your Bannerghatta facility!** My mom has been through so much already—she's on dialysis, underwent brain surgery, and is in a semi-coma. Yet, despite these challenges, she was breathing fine on her own—until your staff punctured her lung during a central line procedure. On top of this major negligence, the care in the ICU is horrifying. The nurses and staff are not treating her with the gentleness and compassion she deserves. I personally witnessed a male staff member **treating my mother with such cruelty**. While cleaning her, he violently pushed the side of her head (where she had surgery!) against the pillow and aggressively rubbed the other side. The pain was so unbearable that my mom, who is semi-conscious, **opened her eyes in pain**, her pupils rolled back, and bubbles formed at her mouth from the shock of the mistreatment. **This is inhumane!** When I asked him to be gentle, he ignored me and continued to cause her pain. Is this the standard of care at Apollo? Is this how patients are treated? **No one deserves this kind of abuse, especially not someone fighting for their life!** To make matters worse, your duty doctors were eating inside the ICU chamber! I saw them casually eating Kurkure and ice cream on separate occasions while my mom lay there suffering. **This is beyond unprofessional.** We are paying nearly **₹100,000 per day** for what should be world-class care, yet we are receiving the worst form of negligence and cruelty. **This is not just about money, it’s about the dignity and proper care that every patient deserves!** I demand that you investigate this matter immediately and ensure this does not happen to any other family. @ApolloKarnataka needs to take accountability NOW!**
