Honestly, Iske irritated me so much in S1 with how cold and standoffish he was toward Ruby, but I like his development. I like how he never forced her to reveal her past despite his suspicions. He could tell she was hurting, yet he still gave her space and trusted her

This has to be one my favorite scene of them. Iske is so curious, and he noticed her sadness yet he respected her boundaries and chooses to comfort her instead of demanding answers. 🥹
