St. John’s commit Matthew Zambriski showed off a five pitch mix Sunday night. The big righty has plenty of natural movement on his fastball that topped at 89, and has reached 91 MPH. He also demonstrated his cutter, sinker, changeup, and curveball. The 2027 graduate will anchor the Riverhead rotation this Spring.

St. John’s commit Matthew Zambriski is one of the top two-way players in Suffolk County right now. He’s the ace of the Riverhead staff, as well as their starting SS when he’s not pitching. The 6’5 righty threw a perfect game last spring for the Blue Waves, and has two more years at Riverhead to add to his already stellar HS career. Here he is raking during BP.

Matthew Zambriski (27 NY) ran the fastball up to 87 and mixed in a SL at 80. Long limbs and lots of projection. #WWBAWorlds #StJohns commit
