I got my PS2 in August 2001, right before 9/11. I spent the whole summer working for my grandparents doing random odd jobs. My grandma put it in layaway at K Mart and instead of giving me a check they would make a payment on the console every week.
I have skinny ass twink hands but joycons have been way too thin for me ever since OG Switch. Hori needs to make a a Split Pad Pro for the Switch 2 ASAP.

i love how seriously japan takes its culture. anime characters in everyday places, town mascots, themed cafes, character days, and now its government honoring the man behind mario. they treat art as something worth celebrating. it's woven into everyday life, and that's why their culture feels so alive.
meanwhile, western studios can't even celebrate their own creators, let alone stop hijacking their work to shove ideology down our throats.
the west really fell off after the 2000s.
A number of the girls I was friends w/ in high school during this era worked @ Hollister. Most of them smoked a ton of weed and were chilled out.
