Larry David Reveals How He Got Fired From SNL… Then Showed Up Monday Like Nothing Happened
Larry David tells Howard Stern how his sketches kept getting cut during his time as a writer on Saturday Night Live. Frustrated, he finally snapped at executive producer Dick Ebersol just five minutes before the show went live, shouting that the show was terrible and that he was quitting.
But as he walked home in the freezing cold, he started calculating how much money he had just cost himself. His neighbor, Kenny Kramer, gave him a simple piece of advice: go back on Monday and pretend it never happened.
Larry took the advice, returned to the writers' meeting, and acted as if nothing had happened. Amazingly, he still had his job.

I spent $50 on groceries, and this is all I got.
4 zucchini, 2 boxes of Kraft Mac & Cheese, a block of cheese, 1.5 lbs of ground beef, spaghetti, tomato paste, crushed tomatoes, and 12 eggs.
This has to feed two people for a week.
I even put back the cereal I usually rely on for one meal a day because it was over budget.
$50, and we’re still stretching every meal just to get by.
I’m not asking for luxury. I’m asking to afford groceries without feeling anxious at the checkout.

THE SCARY TRUTH ABOUT CAR LOANS THAT DEALERSHIPS WON’T TELL YOU…
Dealers know most buyers focus on ONE question:
“What’s my monthly payment?”
That’s exactly how they get you.
Can’t afford $500/month? They’ll stretch your loan to 72 or 84 months to make the payment look smaller.
But you could end up paying thousands more in interest just to make the car seem affordable.
And here’s where it gets worse.
Cars typically last around 14 years. With prices soaring, people are buying older vehicles and financing them for longer.
Imagine buying an 8-year-old car with a 7-year loan.
You could still be making payments when that car is 15 years old and needs major repairs or ends up in the junkyard.
The bank doesn’t care. You still owe the money.
Now you need another car, another loan, and another monthly payment while you’re STILL paying for the first one.
That’s how people end up trapped paying for two cars when they only have one that

SORRY, BUT RENTAL APPLICATION FEES FEEL LIKE A SCAM.
I applied to 5 apartments this month and paid $60 per application. That’s $300 gone.
Here’s the problem: 3 of those apartments were already rented by the time my applications were reviewed.
Nobody informed me. Nobody refunded me. Just an automated rejection email.
That’s $120 wasted applying for apartments that were no longer available.
If you’re charging me to run a background check, then actually run it. But if the unit is already rented, why am I paying in the first place?

Dealership won't release car til 3 weeks after purchase
I purchased a car at what seemed to be a professional car dealership, but right before purchase they inform me I'll have to wait 10 business days after depositing the auto loan check because the bank I got it from.
10 business days come around and I call inquiring about when I can take the vehicle home. I'm now told I have to wait 10 business days after the check cleared to leave with the vehicle.

I have $30K saved for a down payment and want to buy a $70K condo.
The problem? My $34K annual income comes from scholarships, military housing benefits, and potentially part-time work. I have a 671 credit score and zero debt.
I can afford the $650–$750 monthly payment I already pay in student housing, but will a lender actually approve me?
I even considered buying a car to boost my credit score.

After 23 Years in an Abusive Marriage, She’s Facing Prison. One of the craziest shows
Caller: I've been in a financially abusive marriage for 23 years. I have four children, and I'm facing three years in prison for conspiracy to commit bank fraud. My husband put my name on company documents and had me sign things without giving me control over the money.
Dave Ramsey: You knew this was happening when it was happening, though?
Caller: No, I didn't understand what was happening. Federal agents came to our house and asked if certain signatures were mine. I admitted they were. My husband had a gambling problem, and I never had control over our finances.
Dave Ramsey: You've already been convicted?
Caller: No, we didn't go to trial. My attorney told me I probably wouldn't win, so I pleaded guilty.
Dave Ramsey: So, how long are you supposed to be incarcerated?
Caller: Three years.
Dave Ramsey: And your husband is already out of prison?
Caller: Yes. He served one year of his sentence. While he was away, I got a job. I have a graduate degree, and I've been working for the past three years.
Dave Ramsey: Are you divorced yet?
Caller: No. He won't give me a divorce.
Dave Ramsey: He doesn't get to decide whether you can divorce him. You live in Florida. You can file for divorce. You obviously can't stay married to this guy.
