A knife-wielding migrant successfully climbed on board a small boat crossing the Channel just seconds after threatening to "kill" those on the vessel.

Rioters have been seen looting stores in Germany as violent unrest in Europe continues to sweep through the continent.

More than 8 million horses, mules and donkeys died during the First World War.
Dogs served as messengers, guards and companions, often facing terrible dangers alongside soldiers.
Animals suffered from shellfire, disease, exhaustion and exposure to chemical weapons.
They had no choice. We have a choice to remember them. 💜

1 million horses were taken from civilian life in Britain alone for WW1.
Only 62,000 ever came back.
Alongside them, over 20,000 British dogs were sent to the front lines as messengers, sentries, and mercy dogs seeking out the wounded.
They braved shellfire, gas, and mud, pulling heavy guns and locating the fallen.
The unsung heroes who had no voice, but gave everything.
While the red poppy honors fallen human soldiers, the purple poppy is worn to remember the millions of animals who served and lost their lives in war.
This is a touching tribute at Kelso War Memorial gardens.

20TH NOVEMBER UK PROTESTS: MY ADVICE? STAY HOME.
If the planned protests by the left go ahead, my advice is simple. Do NOT counter-protest.
I understand the anger. I understand the temptation to turn up and make your voice heard.
But if things turn ugly, you risk being dragged into the fallout, regardless of your intentions.
Sometimes the smartest move is knowing when not to get involved.
Don’t give anyone the opportunity to turn the situation against you.
Just my take on the upcoming protests.
