So incredibly blessed to be on the front page of the Oklahoman! Get to know your fellow Muslim Okies! 🤗 teapaw.org/newsok/status/78516668…

Sam Presti on retiring Russell Westbrook's jersey number:
"Many players make an impact but only great players leave a legacy. Oklahomans consider him one of their own and his number will be raised to the rafters, in Oklahoma City forever."

I’m fine. Everything’s fine. 😭😭😭😭😭
The moment GM Sam Presti announced @russwest44's No. 0 would go up in the rafters forever 👏

Russell Westbrook learning his jersey is being retired by OKC is the best thing you’ll see all day.

I hope he takes all the time he needs to physically and mentally recover from his recent injuries
This city lives and dies with our Thunder. We support them on the court, as representatives of our city off the court, and as people that feel as familiar to us as our friends and neighbors. They’re our guys.
It’s been a thrill for all of us to have JDub back on the court this season. His terrible injury tonight came just a minute or so after he had us all out of our seats for one of his signature moments. We’ll now have to hang on to that moment for awhile.
Our whole city will have JDub in our thoughts and prayers as he deals with this adversity and as he makes his way through his recovery. We are also thinking of his teammates Cason Wallace and Jaylin Williams, who also left the game tonight with injuries.
I took these pictures tonight. We can’t wait till the day @jdubwttp levitates above the court again with ease. We’ll be there to cheer his return, however long it takes.

Feel awful for Jalen Williams.
He played through a torn ligament in his shooting wrist an entire playoff run to help OKC win the title.
He then tried to come back multiple times during last year's playoff run despite being hurt to try to help OKC win another title.
Now after putting in a ton of work and recovering, he suffers a devastating injury to open this season.
He unlocks so much of what OKC does on both sides of the court and nobody brings more energy to Loud City.
Prayers up for JDub as he starts on his road to recovery.
We’re 2-0 when I go shopping on game days wearing an OU jersey/shirt. You’re so welcome Sooner nation

Shai could’ve stayed in to try and keep the streak alive but decided not to go in and let it come to an end
141 consecutive games of 20+ points is a record I don’t think will be broken in my lifetime
Unless it’s Shai again then maybe
One of the most impressive streaks in NBA history
Was documenting at work earlier and was trying to type contact-guard assist abbreviation (CGA) but instead typed SGA
