The Bay College womens basketball team was in danger of having its long winning streak broken, trailing Muskegon by 16 points in the second half. But then, Ashlee Burchette took over. Here is some of her work as the Norse survived and stayed in first place.

This is a great individual honor for @AshleeBurchette, but she would be the first one to tell you this one is a team award. We were not good at beginning of the year. Now we are dangerous. The improvement of every player is crazy and that is why Ash got this award!
🌠An All-Star performance for the Norse!
Ashlee Burchette of @BayCollegeNorse averaged 31.3 points, 2 rebounds, 5 assists, and 5.3 steals in 3 games to earn #NJCAABasketball DII Women's Player of the Week.
