I feel more people should be discussing Pauline Hanson suing over a satirical song about her back in 1997 and 2003.
@PPantsdown (Simon Hunt) released a song, 'I'm A Backdoor Man' that arranged Hanson soundbites to have her saying . . . 'I'm very proud that I'm not natural. I'm a backdoor man for the Ku Klux Klan' and 'I'm a very caring potato', among other words of wisdom.
Interestingly, Hanson's so-called support of satire escaped her and through her lawyers, she lodged defamation proceedings in the QLD courts, arguing the satire was injurious and defamatory and the lyrics and audio imputations falsely portrayed her as:
• a homosexual, a transvestite/man, or a prostitute
• engaging in unnatural sexual practices or pedophilia
• associating with the Ku Klux Klan
• being a subhuman or a "caring potato"
(please try to read that with a straight face)
The proceedings resulted in the granting of an injunction in Pauline Hanson's favour restraining the continued publication of the satirical material.
After remaining legally dormant for roughly five years, Hanson reactivated the existing defamation case in the Supreme Court of Queensland in mid-2003. Legal analysts and media noted that Hanson revived the lawsuit specifically around the same time she was facing high-profile criminal charges and prison time for electoral fraud.
Anywhoo, it seems Pauline Hanson and her team of bald men are very happy to cruelly and sadistically mock others, especially women with disabilities, but when it comes to mocking Pauline, that so-called sense of humour suddenly vaporises.

Aren't the LNP (and One Nation) supposed to be the "free speech" parties? Our constitution gives us the guarantee of freedom of political speech, and yet these "freedom fighters" keep trying to silence people who speak out against the atrocities Israel is committing.

Labor MP Clare O’Neil put a post on Facebook about celebrating a toy library’s 40th birthday in her electorate, cutting a cake & thanking the volunteers. It was swamped with ugly hate posts & all from men. Just once it would be nice to read a post from an MP without the vitriol

There is a very, very big threat going unacknowledged here - men's violence against women.
Everybody has been very quick to call it political violence because yes, it involves violence against a politician. But very few people* are acknowledging it is men's violence against women, even though it involves a man's violence against a woman. Why is that?
*meaning men, because women have certainly been yelling about it non-stop since it happened. Women are everywhere talking about this and so very tellingly, very few are listening.
