Draymond Green says this season is the final chance for Luka Doncic to win MVP, and he likely won't 😔 "Luka will never win an MVP in the NBA. This is the last possible year he can win it." He added, "If Luka go average 34 points a game, they're gonna be like, 'Oh, yeah, of course Luka averages 34 points a game. And it's like, JT can go average 30'. "They're gonna be like, 'Oh, yeah, we know he can average 30 points a game. Both of them can average 30, 11, and 8. Oh, yeah, we know they're supposed to.' "And it won't be viewed as somebody else averaging those numbers. It's like people get fatigued of it. The same thing happened with LeBron James. You can't tell me he only should have four MVPs." If Michael Jordan had played until Year 24 like LeBron James, he would have faced players like Klay Thompson, Kyrie Irving, Kawhi Leonard and perhaps become teammates with Jimmy Butler 👀 After he retired in 2002-03 during his 15th season, an extra 9 seasons would've taken him all the way to 2011-12 and he would've witnessed LeBron win his first ring in Miami 💍 Putting that type of longevity into context is WILD 😳 (h/t Hoops Hype)

The Warriors have reportedly reached out to the Milwaukee Bucks to discuss a potential trade involving Myles Turner and Kristaps Porzingis 👀 Porzingis is currently contemplating retirement due to his autoimmune condition after signing a 2YR/$40M contract extension this offseason. (via Evan Sidery)

With Cason Wallace's $139M extension, the Oklahoma City Thunder may be forced to trade Chet Holmgren or Jalen Williams before the 2027-28 season to avoid facing a $313M luxury tax bill 💰 With the emergence of rookie center Aday Mara this preseason, could Chet Holmgren be the most likely trade candidate? (via AP Hoops)

BREAKING: Golden State has started exploring trade routes for Kristaps Porzingis, who is now seriously contemplating his future in basketball as he deals with recurring symptoms from the autoimmune condition termed as POTS (postural orthostatic tachycardia syndrome) 🚨 "Porzingis is on a trade-flexible contract for $20 million this season and a small partial next year, serving as essentially an expiring deal that the Warriors can utilize, potentially with their pool of assets. He first revealed his POTS diagnosis last year and has had ups and downs with the issue. If there is no breakthrough in recovery, stepping away from basketball -- for good -- is possible." (via Shams)
