That'll probably do it for Raynaud's night. Co-leading France in scoring with 10 points (4/5 FG, 0/1 3P, 2/2 FT) 4 boards and an assist in 16 minutes off the bench. Nice debut outing for Maxime!

I was skeptical of the Kings’ draft at first, but the more I look at it, the more I love the direction they’re taking. Surrounding Acuff Jr. with proven, competitive players who will push him, help him grow, and keep him accountable is exactly what you want. That’s what Emmanuel Sharp brings. Sharp was a winner at Houston. Everyone knows about the shooting, but it’s everything else that stands out to me. He’s another one of Kelvin Sampson’s pitbull guards—relentless defensively, ultra-competitive, and incredibly smart. He reads offenses at a high level, navigates screens, times his digs perfectly, jumps passing lanes, rotates instinctively, and knows when to pressure the ball handler or cut off the roller in the P&R. He just gets it. Guys like this carve out long NBA careers because they impact winning. The fact Sacramento already signed him to a three-year, $6.35 million deal tells you everything you need to know about how highly they think of him.

Daeqwon Plowden was dialed in during the final 15 games of the season: 14.3 PTS 2.9 REB 1.0 STL 46% FG 37% 3PT (7.6 attempts/G) 30.3 MIN Solid depth move for the Kings.
Sources: The Sacramento Kings are signing Daeqwon Plowden to a 2-year, $5.1 million deal. After two-way deals with the Warriors, Hawks, and Kings, Plowden gets a standard NBA deal after averaging 10.8 points last season. Agent Drew Kelso of @OneMotiveSports will finalize the deal

I’d say Kings fans are pretty happy with the selection of Darius Acuff Jr.

Darius Acuff Jr & the Kings have been connected for months. Sacramento loves his star offensive potential & his work ethic. Acuff's camp has had Sacramento very high on their list for a while too, especially since the NBA Draft Combine.

NBA Draft Notes from New York: • Sacramento is expected to select Darius Acuff Jr. at No. 7 if he's available. • The Kings are looking at ways to re-enter the late first round. Multiple avenues to do so. • There is 'absolutely nothing' on any Domantas Sabonis-Toronto deal. The Raptors have completely backed off their interest. If the Kings are really gonna do this Acuff thing (they shouldn’t), they’ve got to pull out all the stops to trade back into the first and snag a defender. Morez Johnson, Dailyn Swain… maybe grab Quadir Copeland or Baba Miller in the second.

While Sacramento has engaged in discussions regarding an additional lottery-range pick, talks have not advanced beyond the exploratory stage. The Kings are not expected to surrender the No. 7 overall pick in any deal to acquire another selection in the 9-15 range, sources said.
The Sacramento Kings are aggressively exploring avenues to acquire an additional first-round pick, targeting the No. 9-15 range, and have held trade discussions with two teams, league sources tell @TheConsensusNBA.

According to a league source, Houston's Kingston Flemings visited the Sacramento Kings late last week for an individual work. He joins Darius Acuff Jr. as the only two top ten projected picks to visit the Kings to date. @JakeLFischer first with the news.

James Dolan invited his friend Donald Trump to watch Game 3. In order to do that, they have to ban the organic, historically joyous parties happening outside MSG for fans who can't afford to be inside. Modern sports in a nutshell
Fans will be prohibited from hosting watch parties outside Madison Square Garden or bringing bags into the venue during Game 3 of the NBA Finals, as MSG, the U.S. Secret Service and New York Police ramp up security measures with President Donald Trump planning to attend the game Monday night.

One thing that didn’t get much comment yesterday off of my latest 2026 NBA Draft Big Board that I thought would spark more conversation: I have Morez Johnson Jr. as the best “big” in this class. Whether you see him as a C or PF, I just think he has the most defensive utility I want at that position while having a pathway to continue developing into a spot-up shooter given the touch indicators. I can switch him up and down the lineup, rebounds on both ends, sets good screens, communicates, can work in the handoff game, and is a real vertical presence around the basket. Just has to much to work with as one of the draft’s best athletes relative to others at his position.
