The Hubble telescope looked out into what we thought was an empty patch of space and showed us how little we know about the universe, revealing tens of thousands of previously unknown galaxies. Astronomers on Earth had long gazed into the skies, but their view was obscured as light from the universe was disrupted by our planet's atmosphere. But not everything went to plan. 🎧 Hear how the dream was almost lost in a distant blur, or search for 13 Minutes: Trouble with Hubble wherever you get your podcasts: bbc.in/4i7ITJN
