Rashee Rice filed for Chapter 7 bankruptcy with over $3.45 million in debts, mostly from civil litigation tied to a 2024 crash and abuse claims. He reported $13,640 in checking account and $677,000 in personal assets.
Rashee Rice has filed Chapter 7 bankruptcy over debt tied to the Dallas car crash, reporting obligations ranging from $1 million to $10 million.
Filing shows that Rice put up his Super Bowl ring as collateral for legal fees.

Despite frustrating mistakes and penalties in their loss to Denver, the 5-2 Chiefs have plenty of reasons to believe.
Eleven penalties for 105 yards against Denver. A winning touchdown erased by a false start. An 11-point fourth-quarter lead that slipped away. Those are costly mistakes, and a team with championship expectations has to be better in those moments.
The offensive line needs consistency. Xavier Worthy needs to give this offense more production. The pass rush needs more help around George Karlaftis. And Andy Reid deserves scrutiny for the short-yardage calls and late-game decisions. There’s enough responsibility to go around.
The Chiefs need to trade for a receiver before the November 10th deadline. Mahomes needs a big name or at least another dependable target who can create separation and consistently win matchups. Rice’s return helps, but I’m not comfortable betting the rest of the season on the current receiver group suddenly finding consistency. Brett Veach needs to make improving that room a priority. A trade should be part of the solution, alongside fixing the protection, penalties and execution.
But look at what’s worth building on: Patrick Mahomes just threw for 321 yards and three touchdowns against Denver. Emmett Johnson caught five passes for 128 yards and a touchdown. A rookie stepping up like that gives this offense another player defenses have to account for.
Rashee Rice returned and caught all seven of his targets. Travis Kelce added five catches for 67 yards. Kenneth Walker has already shown how dangerous he can make the running game. There are weapons here, and Johnson’s emergence gives Andy Reid another reason to get creative.
This team is still 5–2. That gives Kansas City a strong foundation, even with the work ahead. Being capable of winning these games makes the mistakes more frustrating, but it also gives us something to believe in.
Emmett Johnson has 13 fewer catches than Xavier Worthy… and MORE receiving yards. 😳
Through seven games, the rookie RB is averaging 16.9 yards per catch.
Because he doesn't have the time in the pocket or the receivers that get open consistently down field. Pretty simple to figure out.
He did it with Hill, which means he's capable of doing it.
Take away Ja’Marr Chase and TeeHiggins from Joe Burrow?
Since Tyreek Hill left the Chiefs in 2022, Patrick Mahomes has fewer deep passing touchdowns than Will Levis
He's tied with backup QBs Aidan O'Connell and Mac Jones
