The fact that Google co-founder Sergey Brin has enough loose change to spend $100 million of it on a campaign to defeat the proposed one-time 5% tax on California billionaires is itself the single most powerful argument in favor of a one-time 5% tax on California billionaires.

Only one chance in this lifetime…
Like watching sunset at the beach from the most foreign seat in the cosmos, I couldn’t resist a cell phone video of Earthset. You can hear the shutter on the Nikon as @Astro_Christina is hammering away on 3-shot brackets and capturing those exceptional Earthset photos through the 400mm lens. @AstroVicGlover was in window 3 watching with @Astro_Jeremy next to him.
I could barely see the Moon through the docking hatch window but the iPhone was the perfect size to catch the view…this is uncropped, uncut with 8x zoom which is quite comparable to the view of the human eye. Enjoy.

This is no shade to any other place in Texas, it's just that inner-loop Houston is Texas's only real big city with all the big city amenities. No single part of DFW has that, and neither do Austin or San Antonio. -OS

Today in 1964, Judge Hofheinz debuts the new @Astros logo, after changing from the Colt .45s.
So bamboo, while lightweight, eco-friendly and above all, cheap only held up 3 years. It’s a pretty safe bet the new raised bed border will be here long after I’m gone. 😅
