CANADA POST IS NOT A BUSINESS, IT IS A PUBLIC SERVICE.
Way too many grown ass adults somehow don’t understand this.
Anyhow, solidarity to the workers.

This move by Canada Post undermines collective bargaining and literally leaves workers in the cold. Meanwhile, the Houston government’s refusal to make an arrangement for the delivery of social benefit cheques is hitting many. Solidarity with the striking public sector workers fighting for gains that impact all of us.

For 55 years, Sesame Street has welcomed all children to learn and play with our furry friends, friendly monsters, and warm and gentle grown-ups.
Everyone has a place on Sesame Street and has since our first episode premiered on November 10th, 1969. Happy #SesameStreetDay
Absolutely wild to see fellow Nova Scotians picking sides between veterans & refugee children. As if both aren’t our neighbours. As if both don’t understand PTSD fr war better than the rest of us. As if respect is a commodity & we only have so much to go around. #LestWeForget

🗣 "If it's a woman playing it, we are showing it"
Last night Whoopi Goldberg launched a women's sports channel focusing on women and women only 😲
All Women’s Sports Network (AWSN) is set to fill global gaps in broadcasting of women’s sports 👏🏼
Regardless of opinion on this, ACTUAL issue is decision-making & oversight. Imagine a locally-elected body repping schools, empowered to discuss this w/the care it deserves, making policy fr there? But @LiberalPartyNS abolished school boards & @TimHoustonNS won’t bring them back.
In demanding that veterans and members of the Canadian Armed Forces not wear their uniforms while observing Remembrance Day, the leaders at this school are disgracing themselves while demeaning the people who protect our country.
Remembrance Day is a day on which we honour those who serve and remember those who have sacrificed so much to keep us safe. Our veterans were never ashamed to wear their uniforms while protecting Canada and they should never be made to feel ashamed to wear their uniforms today.
If the people behind this decision had a shred of the courage that our veterans have, this cowardly and insulting idea would have been rejected immediately. In the Nova Scotia and Canada I know, our veterans will never be asked to hide who they are.
Saying Lest We Forget is a solemn promise to the fallen, our veterans and those who continue to serve that we will pass our respect and gratitude to the next generation.
The decision makers at Sackville Heights Elementary School have forgotten this sacred obligation.

We are appalled by Ontario Soccer's decision to host Jill Ellis. While yes, she is "the winningest" HC she also has a documented track record of creating toxic & abusive working environments, an open harassment lawsuit against her and enabled abuse in the NWSL as the USWNT HC 1/2
The 2025 #OntarioSoccerSummit will feature Jill Ellis, the winningest head coach in U.S. Soccer history and President of the NWSL’s @SanDiegoWaveFC! 🇺🇸⚽️🏆
Jill led the U.S. WNT to back-to-back FIFA World Cup Championships, and holds two FIFA World Coach of the Year titles.
