Morning still fuming.
May as well scrap the under 22s and all the way down to the academy.
They cannot produce a right or left back or a goalscorer.
Whatever happened to the days when a left back got injured and the reserve stepped in.
No square pegs in round holes was simple.

Great work, Glazers and thanks Ineos. You are fantastic owners. Silly cunts.

Baleba had a full year of underperformance at Brighton. He was our prime signing in the summer.
Santos couldn’t break into Chelsea side who finished 10th last season. He was our second biggest signing.
State of United after finishing 3rd in the premier league 🤦🏻♂️

THERE IS ONLY ONE WAY TO DO IT.
If people genuinely believe there's a manager out there who can take United back to the top with the same players who've been at this club for 6, 7, 8 or even 10 years, then I've got some REALLY bad news for you.

The same back four of Maguire, Lisandro Martínez, Luke Shaw and Dalot that started Manchester United's infamous 4-0 defeat to Brentford in 2022 is still being relied upon in 2026. Shaw is only missing against Chelsea because of injury.
Four years later, the same problems remain. This is what happens when a club lacks ambition in the transfer market. Manchester United's decline is not a one-season problem; it is years of poor planning, weak recruitment and a failure to address the same issues.

luke shaw is set to miss #mufc's game against chelsea. that means he's now missed 8 games so far this season. it also means he's now missed 320 games through injury in his whole united career. he's missed over 49% and 1700+ days of his united career through injuries. what a joke.
Exakt
This is Youri Tielemans all over again. The best time to sign these players was 3–4 years ago, when they were still in their prime.
No disrespect to Calvert-Lewin or Leeds, but he isn’t Manchester United level. If this is what Michael Carrick or the next manager has to work with, we might actually get relegated because INEOS haven’t learned anything from last summer transfer window.
