"Vi har været i Afrika i 30 år og har installeret anlæg i mere end 30 lande. Når vi sælger vores løsninger, bidrager vi til fødevaresikkerhed og til at reducere tab af afgrøder i forbindelse med høsten, og så skaber vi noget lokal værditilvækst." 👇 danskindustri.dk/di-business…

Pesticide residues are unfairly portrayed as harmful. A misconception exploited by fear-driven narratives.
However, the mere presence of a pesticide residue doesn’t indicate danger. It's like claiming we should avoid apples simply because their seeds contain cyanide.

“Chemical-free” is just a marketing gimmick that preys on the fear and misunderstanding many consumers have about chemicals.
→ It implies that “chemical” = “harmful.”
It claims that so-called “chemical-free” products are safer and better than those that contain chemicals.
The truth?
→ EVERYTHING is made of chemicals.
From the DNA in your cells to the hydrochloric acid in your stomach:
↳ The food you eat.
↳ The water you drink.
↳ The air you breathe.
There’s also a misconception that natural ingredients are safer than synthetic ones.
“Natural” doesn’t automatically mean “safe.”
“Chemicals” are not inherently bad.
↳ It’s the dose that makes the poison.

For the last few decades, the annual wild fish catch has been flat, hovering around 90 million metric tons.
Fish farming, however, has grown spectacularly.
This is a win for humans, who now feast on record quantities of fish, and eases pressure on wild fish stocks.

Let’s revisit basics:
The dose makes the poison.
With EVERYTHING.
Everything is chemicals.
Even you.
You’re a sack of chemicals.
Natural chemicals aren’t better or safer than synthetic ones.
The source of a chemical has no bearing on potential harm.

It is estimated that nitrogen fertilizer now supports approximately half of the global population.
In other words, Fritz Haber and Carl Bosch — the pioneers of this technological breakthrough — are estimated to have enabled the lives of several billion people, who otherwise would have died prematurely, or never been born at all.
