Retroactive continuity – the very first 'Genesis' Daleks have those power receptor slats we see in The Chase because they pre-date the Dalek city's powered floors. So the receptor dishes in the Dalek Invasion of Earth are just a quick fix until the slats return. #DoctorWho

Thank you @UofGlasgow for bestowing upon my mum the honorary degree of doctor of the University of Glasgow. This has brought her so much joy in the final beats of her life. Janey is so honoured, and I am so immensely proud of her. Congratulations Doctor Godley.

Earlier this morning Janey passed away in her sleep. Her family were with her.
The love and support from all her friends and fans during this cancer journey brought her enormous joy. It has also been a huge comfort to us, her family and close friends, thank you.
The #OmegaFactor gets a second series and as audio it may be more chilling than telly. Louise Jameson and John Dorney get good stuff to do and their strife is well played. The first episode ramps up in tantalising fits and starts and just when I'm unsettled, the paranormal hits.
The Old Gods is a familiar story shape – a perilous intervention with threat of discovery. Couple of good stand-offs for Anne and a perilous arc for Adam. I've felt performances take me out of the story when it all goes ratchet crazy but the centre holds here. #OmegaFactor
'Legion' is classic #OmegaFactor: an exorcism in a troubled home, then on to an institute where the supernatural soon storms through vulnerable individuals. There's lovely tension as reason pushes back against the outlandish like a doomed balloon, over-full with water.

I just checked. David Maloney was filming his creepy engineers for 'Dr Who and the Deadly Assassin' just weeks before the creepy chauffeur in Burnt Offerings showed up in cinemas stateside. Same energy tho 🎃
