Planned a bank heist with @bsnr135 at the @safestack booth @RenderATL yesterday. Pretty cool!
Great talk by @IzharBuendia at @RenderATL yesterday on design as a business decision. He showed real examples of how designers can bring in money, reduce spending, and increase market share.

Second talk I caught at @RenderATL is @beehoyle on emotional health in tech, specifically UX Research
I honestly can’t do the talk justice, it was powerful. I’ll do my best though 🔥
Awesome panel this morning on leveling up your brand with @anthonydmays @TuckerTech901 @LDLockhartJr @janackeh at @RenderATL
“When you build real relationships that’s going to outlast a layoff”
@janackeh went to two bootcamps for free—ask her how!
And lastly, as @TuckerTech901 said, “Do not wait until you need a job to network.”
@anthonydmays encouraged people to build their network. “Use and build your brand in a way that will outlast your company.” Because these jobs won’t be around forever.
@LDLockhartJr said “Some of the best branding you can do is staying consistent with your word.”
“You have to be a trusted brand.”

Hello hello 👋 #IWD2023 is nearly here, and so are companies' cut-and-paste platitudes. And once again we're bringing you the data to see whose support for #InternationalWomensDay is genuine, and who's still got work to do.
Here's a reminder of how it works ⬇️ (1/8)

Something people don't appreciate about qualitative research is the amount of time it requires. Between scheduling, conducting, transcribing, & analyzing (& re-analyzing!) interviews; member checking; and being reflexive, it can take years to finish a study of 30 participants.
