(1/5) TUBIN/TUBSAT-27 (NORAD 48900) is about to re-enter Earth’s atmosphere in the next week (likely 2025-12-16). It is transmitting a beacon every 10 s at 435.950 MHz. Further information can be found in the @LibreSpace_Fnd forum: community.libre.space/t/tubi… #TUBIN #TUBSAT @SatNOGS

While I decayed now over a year ago ☄️, my older brother #BEESAT-1 yesterday celebrated his 15th orbit anniversary 🎉 and thanks to the students @StudOps is now stronger than ever in the last decade 📡🛰️
Happy 15th anniversary #BEESAT! Launched in 2009, operated until 2013, recovered in 2024. This morning we successfully powered up the sun sensors and magnetometers for the first time in over 10 years! Telemetry looks good so far as we continue checking the state of the satellite.

Many thanks to @SatNOGS and all other radio amateurs, you made observations until the very end possible! In the last weeks over 1300 observations from all over the world tracked and recorded data from BEESAT-4, most likely the last one was “1425 - Eddyosp-UHF” at 15:45:08 UTC.

Over its lifetime #BEESAT-4 was operated through ~9000 passes, 356.292 telemetry frames / 201 MB were download, 214 images taken and more than 1200 attitude control maneuvers flown.

Farewell #BEESAT-4, our CubeSat reentered Earth's atmosphere today. With this last beautiful #imagefromspace, showing the full moon above Earth's horizon, we want to say goodbye. Designed for only one year but in continuous operation for over 7 years, until its decay today.

#BEESAT-4 reentry update: - Date: 2023-09-23, probably afternoon - Altitude: ~230 km - Decay rate: >12 km/day - TLEs are becoming unprecise, resulting in problems with ground station tracking - Best-effort to continuously activate transmission of standard telemetry (APID 0,1,2,5)

#BEESAT-4 will be the first 🛰️of @TUBerlin to de-orbit since the demise of TUBSAT N in April 2002 - more than two decades ago! It's been one of the work-horses of @StudOps and thanks to their great efforts we hopefully get some insight into how far down it can make it! ❤️‍🔥

If any HAM enthusiast @SatNOGS wants to listen now is your last chance. BEESAT-4 transmits regularly during passes over our Berlin ground station. At the mark of ~2 days remaining, we will start continuously transmission of standard telemetry. Find more on tu.berlin/en/raumfahrttechni…

Todaay, I am already three years in orbit!
Happy orbitday! Three years ago, #BEESAT4 was separated by @DLR_en satellite BIROS. Besides conducting technology demonstration experiments, the CubeSat took images from Earth in the 3rd year of operation. On May 2, 2019 #BEESAT4 photographed Antarctica during winter time.

#BEESAT9 alive!!! My successor companion was received via the ground station in Berlin!
#BEESAT9 is alive!!! The ground station in Berlin received the beacon signal loud and clear from both transceivers on 435.950 MHz on a very low pass with only 1 deg of elevation!

On the 5th of September, I passed BIROS at a very close distance of a few kilometers. I used this opportunity to capture images of the satellite which released me two years ago! raumfahrttechnik.tu-berlin.d…
Today, BEESAT-3 was heard by @dk3wn! He also decoded some frames. Currently, operations team is using high elevation passes in Berlin around noon to receive some telemetry. Telemetry Downlink will be activated at 2017-11-19 00:00 UTC until 2017-11-19 03:10. One Frame every five seconds, alternating both transceivers.
Thanks to all who listened to me yesterday! Unfortunately I switched to safe mode. But I will transmit telemetry again tonight between 0 - 2 a.m. UTC. More details follow, when commands were uplinked today in the evening.
