i know what its like to get doors slammed shut in my face. i know what its like to hit rock bottom and feel like you will never make it out. don't ever give up. dont ever stop. keep on trying. the path to your dream might not be the path you envisioned but you can make your own.

My problem with this kind of thing is that I never come up with anything good...........

I saw a post on Reddit today about AI that said, “AI is data, and data can only look backwards. Creativity looks forwards.” And I genuinely need to sit with the weight of that for a while.

I, at least with my OCs, usually create them by combining everything I like into a single character... at least I've done that with some existing/old OCs Ex. Yuki is a mix of what I liked when I was 15: anime girl very kind, two pigtails, long hair, sonic oc, magical girl-ish+

I wonder if an artist's artstyle can say something about the artist as a person. The things you often include and fixate on must be there for a reason, right?

And Spark was made to complement Yuki.. it's what I thought was missing in a Sonic OC.. dark teal, electric color, InuYasha-style personality, very rude and evil.. (later I found out those positions were already taken LOL)

3-14 "RRRR the Hedgehog, agent working under Commander NYAARGH, at your service." (Remember, if you like this comic and want to keep it alive, grabbing a Ko-Fi membership - starting at just $1 - can go a very long way. I am currently making $3.39/hour working 12 hours a day 🙏)
